Halifax Universities Career Fair Attendee Code of Conduct
To ensure the Halifax Universities Career Fair (HUCF) is a safe, inclusive, and productive event for all, we ask that attendees adhere to the following guidelines:

Student Eligibility: The HUCF is open to current Nova Scotia post-secondary students and recent alumni. Attendees must be able to show proof of enrollment or alumni status upon registration. All attendees must check in at the registration desk prior to entering the event.

Exhibitor Eligibility: Only registered exhibitors are allowed to exhibit. For the guidelines and exhibitor registration details, please visit the exhibitor page on our website. Third-Party Recruiters and Agencies are not allowed.

Respectful Behavior: All attendees are expected to act respectfully towards one another. Harassment, intimidation, threatening gestures, or verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

Non-Violence: Physical violence, threats, or any disruptive actions that could interfere with the event will not be allowed.

Compliance with Law and Venue Policies: All attendees must comply with local laws as well as the policies of the Halifax Convention Centre. This includes adhering to safety protocols and following the directions of event staff and security.

Protests and Demonstrations: We respect the right to peaceful protest. As per the Halifax Convention Centre’s policies, protests are not permitted inside the building or on the Exhibit Floor. If attendees plan to protest, they must do so outside the Convention Centre. Security will be on-site to ensure that protests remain outside the building, and to maintain the safety of all attendees participants. All protests must remain peaceful. Acts of violence, property damage, or any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
